During this 4-hour class the students will explore some new ways and some time honored ways to prepare fish and seafood. During this class you will learn to prepare the following: Calamari Steaks with Tartar Sauce, Trout with Almonds, Crab Cakes, Steamed Fish with Ginger Sauce and Sole with Spinach Cheese Sauce.

Intro to Indian Cooking - Chicken Makhani

Learn how to make Chicken Makhani, jeer basmati rice, and a yogurt drink (Lassi). Chicken Makhani is one of my favorite Indian dishes. Full flavored dish that complements chicken well. Made as mild or spicy as you wish by adjusting the cayenne. Serve with basmati rice and naan bread.

Lassi: A sweet yogurt drink, made by thinning out yogurt with milk or water and then sweetening it for more additional flavors.

This is a popular vegetarian dish, originating from the Indian subcontinent, consisting of red kidney beans in a thick gravy with many Indian whole spices and served with rice, cucumber raita (yogurt with cucumber and cumin).
