What is a patent? How do patents differ from trademarks and copyrights? How do you get a patent for an invention? This course will provide students with answers to these questions as well the practical and in-demand skills needed for entry level careers in the field. Students will learn how to prepare and file various kinds of patent applications and forms to comply with U.S. Patent and Trademark office requirements.
