Want to tell your own story but don’t know how? If you have an idea for a short story, personal essay, or historical short, this is the class for you! We will go over some of the best practices for getting your story from idea to page. You will then have the opportunity to workshop your stories in a supportive learning environment. Nishant Batsha holds a PhD in history from Columbia University in 2017 and is a writer of fiction and creative non-fiction. His work has been published in Narrative, Ploughshares, and The Caribbean Review of Books, among other publications. He is currently revising his first three novels. His writing has been called “powerful” by writers such as Joyce Oates.
